Welcome to Gites de Brives

Our swimming pool

Luxury family-friendly gites

We live surrounded by vineyards, sunflowers and swathes of wild flowers in the pretty village of Brives sur Charente, bordering the majestic Charente.

Our luxury, family-friendly gites are 10 minutes from Cognac, sharing exclusive use of a large swimming pool, a safe children’s play area, a boule court, volley-ball/badminton court, table-tennis, football pitch and a gym in our 5 acre field.

Come and make memories – relax and enjoy!

We would highly recommend Gites de Brives to anyone seeking top quality self catering accommodation in the Charente Maritime.’

‘Excellent in every way. Gites de Brives was great value, well equipped and a real pleasure to stay at. The owners were friendly and very helpful without being intrusive. The local area offers something for everyone, great tourist attractions, river adventures, beaches and great local activities. Do hope we have the opportunity of returning!’

‘We stayed in Le Studio at Gites de Brives for 4 weeks. The accommodation was as advertised or better. The owners were always available, without in any sense being in the way. They look after the site carefully every day and made sure that everything was as it should be for all their guests. Brives is a good setting within reasonable reach of the coast and close to a number of sites along the Charente. We hope to be able to return.’
